WHY SPONSOR?
We all know we cannot adopt every animal that pulls on our heartstrings, but we can still make a profound difference in pocket pets in need. Our sponsorship program allows you to make a tax-deductible donation that will support our rescued pocket pets! All of our fostered pets have veterinary expenses that exceed the amount of their adoption fees. Your contribution will assist in offsetting these expenses and ensure that we can continue to help more pocket pets going forward!
HOW IT WORKS
Pet sponsorship gifts support the work of MN Pocket Pet Rescue. To assist the greatest number of animals in need, and to make sure your gift does the most good, your donation will be used in combination with other sponsorship gifts to help save the lives of our pocket pets and provide everyday essentials like food, beds, exercise, and toys. In return, we keep you updated on your sponsored pet’s progress and share heartwarming stories of how your support is transforming their life.

As a sponsor, you can set up recurring donations or make a one-time contribution using the form above. During checkout, there will be a field where you type in the name of the pet you want to sponsor.
SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS
All sponsorships include acknowledgment on the pocket pet’s profile (unless you choose to remain anonymous), a “thank you letter” from your sponsored pet, updates every other month on your sponsored pet’s progress until adoption, and our heartfelt gratitude for your support.
FAQ
What does my sponsorship cover? Your sponsorship contributes to the overall well-being of the sponsored pocket pet, including food, veterinary care, housing, and enrichment activities, as well as distributing funds to where our rescue most needs it. This may include treatment and care for other pocket pets in our rescue.
Can I choose the pocket pet I want to sponsor? Yes, you can! You can view the profiles of all available pocket pets here, and return to this page to set up your sponsorship.
How often will I receive updates about my sponsored pet? You will receive updates every other month on your pocket pets up until they are adopted from our care.
Is my sponsorship tax-deductible? Yes, your sponsorship is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please hold onto your donation receipt for your records.
Can I cancel or change my sponsorship level? You can increase, change, pause, or cancel your monthly sponsorship donation at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email receipt you received for your last Givebutter charge. It doesn't need to be the most recent one; you do not need a Givebutter login to manage your recurring plan. This will take you to a page where you can view the details of your recurring plan. Click the EDIT PLAN button to make changes. For security reasons, MN Pocket Pet Rescue does not have access to your payment information, but if you need assistance, we can help facilitate a resolution with Givebutter. How long does the sponsorship last? Sponsorships are ongoing, but you can choose to cancel or modify your commitment at any time if it is a monthly gift.
Will anyone else sponsor my pet? People can choose to sponsor the same pet as you – some can be very popular.
Can I sponsor more than one pet? You can sponsor as many, or as few pets, as you would like. Every dollar helps!
