GENERAL VOLUNTEER OPENINGS

CONTENT CREATOR

Duties: Create content within the requested parameters listed in the content creation spreadsheet to post on the organization’s social media accounts. Adhere to the brand style guidelines and overall aesthetic standards of the organization. Reports to the Social Media Outreach Manager.

Requirements: Must have basic knowledge of Google Drive or be willing to learn. Must have excellent copywriting skills. Ideal candidate has graphic design or similar abilities.

NAIL TRIM CLINIC ASSISTANT

Duties: Assist the Community Outreach Manager as needed. Run Nail Trim Clinics when the Events Manager is unavailable. Reports to the Community Outreach Manager.

Requirements: Must have basic knowledge of Google Drive or be willing to learn. Must commit to events that you have signed up for. Completion of our Nail Trim Clinic Training is required prior to handling any animals.

VOLUNTEER
MANAGER

Duties: Process volunteer applications. Introduce new volunteers to their department leader via email. Create/remove new volunteer email addresses upon request from other Leaders. Advertise volunteer opportunities. Provide support to volunteers with general questions or concerns. Ensure that the our volunteer handbook is up-to-date. Maintain communication with other departments to assess their volunteer needs. Attend monthly leadership meetings.

Requirements: Internet access and Facebook accounts (to manage/add/remove volunteers from MNPPR’s Volunteer Facebook group). Basic knowledge of Google Drive or be willing to learn. Excellent communication skills.
